About the Project

Meal-holic is a food Delivery App that has weekly or monthly subscription plans
for the users to subscribe to, pay once, and get delivered every day with the meal they ordered.


Understanding the challenge 

Meal preparation is a term that stands for preparing and planning your meals for a time ahead. Meal preparation sets are usually balanced to fit one’s nutarians.

Have you ever imagined waking up, and just pack up your daily meals and just take off to your destination , Meal Preprations and cooking can always be tough process and very time consuming to people who work a full time job or atheltes .

Desiging an Application to deliver meals based based on time schedule


UX Process

I used the Design thinking Framework in the journey of solving the challenge 

1. EMPATHY

Empathizing with users helps us to understand what users really need and what
are their inner goals and deep needsSo I Interviewed the available users , and got some insights from them.

The Interviews were structured with Pre-structred questions. The Interviews were done remotely online.

The Goals for the interviews Were

1- Finding the pain points of users when ordering food online in general
2- Finding out how they order food
3- Finding out how do they track it, and what do they do when it
arrives late, How do they handle the situation if their grocery is out of stock
4- Finding out if they are familiar with meal-prep apps

ِِEmpathy maps

I created Empathy maps from the insights extracted from interviews , I prefere to add some quotes from the actual saying the interviewee said .There was 2 intervieews , Here are their empathy maps :

User personas

After I created empathy maps , insights are extracted from them , Personas are bulit .
I prefere to build personas based on empathy maps and interviews insights but
with a different characters. I Believe this gives me a change to get have a broader
Picture.

2. Define

After Building the personas,Problem statements given can now be more narrowed
down yet not too narrow nor too broad.


1- Ali Amr is an/an Busy Security head Who Needs to Get his food with best quality
and healthy on time Because he has no time to cook while working out
and working everyday.


2- Mousa Omar is an/an Engineer Who Needs to Get his food with best
Discount and track his Orders Because he discounts save him money and
he doesnt like to interact with delivery guys

3. IDEATE


Competitive Analysis

In this phase of the ideation, I decided to make a competitive analysis 
giving each competitor an overall rating.
I’ve decided to add 5 competitors to compare them and extract
some insights from them, like strengths, Weaknesses, Competitive advantages & features as well .Here are the comptitors :

3- Purple Carrot
4- Dinnerly
5- Bluepron

I started with digital wireframes as my first step, I made a few sketches on paper after that I digitized them ( My sketches were very quick ones due to the task deadline ).
